If it sounds like I'm complaining, I'm not. But I'm not retiring his number, either. He falls below the Shanahan Line. Shanahan was more important to the team and had a bigger impact on the rise from being really good to being the best. And if Shanahan is 50-50, Chelios is more like 30-70.
