Early
in 1998, Stefanie Spielman felt a lump in her breast while performing
a breast self-exam. When she consulted a doctor, she found out that
she had breast cancer. This dramatic event affected their entire world.
In addition to battiling the cancer itself, the Spielmans threw themselves
into the world of fundraising, helping using their public profile
to raise millions of dollars for breast cancer research.
Stefanie Spielman passed from this life on November 19th, 2009. You can view the video presented during her life celebration on the video clips page. She touched many thousands of lives during her brief 42 years on this earth, and she will be deeply missed. |
